[Food] Eating at Sutadonya

We recently had some news about JET. I will be leaving in October!! Which means that it’s now time to do some last minute hang outs with the family. The first outing we had this year, since March 2020, was to go eat out at Sutadonya

Actually, we weren’t planning to eat here. We actually planned to eat somewhere with ramen, but we were with limited time and the usual place had a LONG line. So we went here and it was my first time eating Yakisoba

Honestly, I’m not the biggest fan of noodles so I didn’t have high expectations but I was surprised in another way. Yakisoba is very sweet! And I’m used to my food being savory. If instead of sweet it had been spicy, I think I would have liked it more. That said, I did like the texture of the noodles. They’re much thicker than the ones used in ramen (or at least the ramen I’ve eaten) so they filled me up more than I expected. Actually, I couldn’t finish my food and had to take the rest home!

My family also tried out the curry option

On another occasion I went back and got a Karasutadon bowl and it was DELICIOUS! Maybe it also had to do with the fact that a friend of mine made it but it actually was very good. Again, it wasn’t very spicy even though it was advertised as spicy (but then, it’s hard to match the spicy of the Mexican food), but I actually would love to get another bowl soon

I thought it wouldn’t fill me up but with the rice under the meat, the meat, and the egg…well, let’s just say I was ready to explode

Maybe I can learn how to make it!
